No, master branch remain the same, you just say to GIT that now you
wish to work with dev_time_pps_readlink branch.

To `pollut` you master branch with this patch you have to use the
"git-merge" program.

Regarding this issue I think we are at the end. In fact now we can
choose the PPS source simply using a symbolic link.
