[Linuxpps] bug?

Hi,

Trying to get PPS working on my system. Same gps module as Udo has.
Now Udo says that this:

is wrong. Not sure why but if he says so...

Besides the on-board 2 comports I also have an extra comport:

...

...

Is this wrong?
