The rc patch applied cleanly.
The stuff ran fine with 2.6.26.2. Config remained the same.
After manually starting ppsldisc:
[root at epia dev]# ls -l *ps*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 5 2008-12-26 10:54 gps0 -> ttyS0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 2008-12-26 10:53 gpspps0 -> pps0

So what is wrong?!?
