Well, if minicom sees the pulse on te DCD, is is there; the cable is
then just fine.
Can others who also have a Garmin 18 LVC please give me the output of
sending the '$PGRMCE' commando (without quotes, you might need to press
enter twice in minicom)?
Mine is:
$PGRMC,A,12.3,100,,,,,,A,3,1,2,4,30*63
