[LinuxPPS] kernel 2.6.32 - ntpd-4.2.6 linuxpps experiences

And now it gets even more fun... after running with the GPS18LVC and
the NMEA driver for a while, here is what I got:

I did have flag2 set to 1 for a while as I could not tell if there was
inversion on the PPS signal, but I am not sure if this might be reason
for the assert being stuck now.

One thing is for sure, LinuxPPS still has way too many mysteries for me... :-(
