Yes.
I have a client that want to use the PPS signal from an RTC to keep their
embedded ARM processor's time in sync.
Their device will connect to the net only every other day to do an NTP sync
and in the mean time they want to use the temperature compensated PPS signal
from the RTC (EM3027 from EM Microelectronic) to be keep the time. The PPS
signal will be connected to one of the GPIOs of the ARM.
