Has a bunch of patches for various kernel versions but it does not have the
latest patches. In general you should use the newest version of the kernel
and the patch set.

Starting with version 2.6.32 but you will needed additional patches for this
to work.

Yes. But the patches needed for 2.6.32 are not yet posted there. To find
those patches search this list. Also you should review the posts to this list
related to the most recent versions of the kernel.
